HSE-200 Firmware Page

Version 1.6 - May, 2008

This is the current version for the HSE-200. It updates the device tables to include Sony HDW and MSW vtrs and EVS disk recorders, and also improves device type detection. It also adds automatic cancellation of EE mode in transport modes other than STOP. It includes all features of previous versions.

Version 1.4 - August, 2006

This version added Secondary Recorder function to editor. It also added a memory test and initilization routines, and fixed bug in the clip list display. It eliminates a possible memory-contention problem that could under rare circumstances cause the editor timeline to be corrupted.

Version 1.3 - October, 2005

This version added the LTC/VITC/AUTO timecode selection for each vtr to the menu.

Version 1.0 - August, 2001

First release version of HSE-200 firmware.

Upgrading Firmware

If you'd like to upgrade your HSE-200 firmware you can either burn your own PROMS from the files available for download (on the left of this page), or request PROMS from Lance Design. We do not charge for the firmware upgrades, however we do ask that you only request one copy per unit, and that you provide a Federal Express account number for us to use to cover the shipping charges. If you'd like to request PROMS, send an email with Fedex account number, shipping address and phone number, number of copies requested, and HSE-200 serial numbers (if possible). This will allow us to keep our records up to date.
