The ADX-2400D is the AES version of the ADX system.  It shares the same functionality with the analog version, but the I/0 is AES-format digital, using unbalanced 75-ohm BNC connectors

This system utilizes high-quality AES receivers for low-jitter performance, and error-free data decoding.  There are high-quality, low-distortion rate converters on all inputs, so there is no requirement for input signals to be frequency or phase locked.  They may be free-running, and the ADX-2400D will syncronize them to the network.

The output paths also incorporate rate converters, so that regardless of network timing the outputs may be syncronized with a locally-provided AES reference signal.  This can be very useful in a large fixed facility, or complex mobile unit compound because it allows different portions of the system to operate autonomously with regard to syncronization.

All signal processing is 24-bit, and the Cobranet transmission is 20-bit, with a 48Khz sample rate.

A front-panel configuration and status menu provides easy setup, and user memories are available if multiple configurations are required.

Status monitoring provides display of Cobranet receiver and transmitter status, network error rates, internal temperature, and external reference status.   Flashing front panel alarms are provided for over-temp and network error conditions.
