Cobranet 'Discovery' is a PC/Windows application which allows monitoring of all Cobranet devices on a network. It is an excellent way of checking bundle assignments, error rates, and many other aspects of the Cobranet network.
The application is available for free download using the links at the left. You may download from either Lance Design or directly from Cirrus Logic's Cobranet website.
The ADX-2400s automatically assign an IP address. The address is 192.168.100.xx, where xx is the frame ID number as set by the address switches on the front of the ADX pcb. The PC running Discovery should be set for a manual IP address (not DHCP), and the address should be set to 192.168.0.1, or something like that which will not conflict with any ADX addresses. The mask should be set for 255.255.0.0.
